The diary was written by Sister Faustina in Vilnius and Krakow on the orders of the Lord Jesus. This fact was confirmed by confessors: Fr.. Michał Sopoćko and father Józef Andrasz SJ.
The diary consists of 6 notebooks and was created between 1934 and 1938.

Book 4: entries 1231 – 1321 (August 1937)

The manuscript contains the words of Jesus, which were marked with a pencil and in book prints are visible in the form of bold type.
